Why Volunteer at the Zoo?
Volunteers are critical to the functioning of The Zoo. As a non-profit organization, The Zoo would be unable to maintain high standards of excellence without the help of volunteers. They provide the necessary time and energy needed to maintain the many functions and activities of daily Zoo life.
Providing a safe environment for the animals is a priority for The Zoo and volunteers help achieve this goal. However, volunteers not only clean cages and feed animals, but they also act as educational ambassadors, seeking outreach venues and spreading publicity about The Zoo throughout the community.
